Scott & Kathy Craig #11130
Scott and Kathy grew up in southern New Jersey. They are both members of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. For 17 years Scott ran his own construction business. While Scott always felt the Lord calling him to be involved in missions, it was not until 1994 when he went to Jamaica as part of short term work team that the Lord showed where and how his constructions skills could be used.
For the past 4 years the Craigs have served with Mission to the World in Juarez, Mexico. They assisted the National church planters in growing and strengthening the local churches through the ministry of short-term teams.
The Lord has now called them to serve long-term with Mission to the World's team in Northern Mexico. They again will be assisting National church planters through the ministry of short-term teams. The teams can have a big impact in the communities where churches are being planted. The teams create opportunities for the church planters, opening doors for them to share the gospel. The Craigs will also be involved in developing new strategies to get potential missionaries more involved with the existing ministries in more intimate ways, creating a stronger desire for missions.
The Craig's have 3 sons, Scott Jr. in the US Air Force, Steve(17) and Jeffrey(10) with them on the field. Please pray for them.
