The Craig's Update
News for Friends, Family, and Partners

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
After accepting the invitation to join the MTW Northern Mexico Church Planting team headquartered in the northeastern portion of the Mexico Kathy and I decided it might be a good idea for me to attend the Mission to the World (MTW) Disaster Relief Training. Hurricanes can hit that area with some frequency coming from the Caribbean passing through the Gulf Of Mexico hitting either the US or Mexico coasts.
Well it seems I will have an opportunity to put my training to the test sooner than expected as I will be joining a team heading to Nicaragua this Monday. Please pray as I will be joining a team of doctors, nurses, and support staff bringing relief to the victims of Hurricane Felix which struck there back in September. We will be assisting in 2 villages severely damaged during the category 5 hurricane. We will be setting up medical clinics providing care to those in need of medical attention also providing some construction repairs if possible to buildings damaged in the ferocious storm.
Robbie Lathrop, MTW missionary to Managua, Nicaragua, will be leading our team as we work in the villages of Tuara and Santa Marta located in the area worse hit by Felix. Pray that our time there will not just bring relief to the physical needs of the people but more importantly their spiritual needs. Also for protection from illness and other things that Satan might use to render our witness and efforts ineffective!! We leave this Monday am and will return Sunday night (10/22-10/28). Also please lift up Kathy and the boys while I am gone.
