Richard & Angelica Ramsay # 016500
Richard is from Dodge City, Kansas. After going to Chile in 1978 to
teach in seminary he met Angelica, who is from Concepción, Chile. They
were married in 1984 and were involved in teaching, leadership training,
and church planting in Chile for 21 years.
In 1999, Richard and Angelica moved to Miami to work with international
leadership training. Rich has been on loan to “Universidad FLET”
(Faculty of Latin American Education in Theology), preparing courses,
traveling to teach classes, and programming Internet courses. He is the
director of the systematic theology department and director of the
Internet program. He has published several books in Spanish, and also
teaches classes for Miami International Seminary (MINTS).
MINTS is dedicated to international leadership training with instruction
not only in Spanish, but also in English, French, and Turkish. Since
opening 5 years ago, they have grown to over 1,200 students in over 30
countries (including Muslim nations). He will direct their online
program, and will travel to teach as he has done with FLET. The online
discipleship and educational resources that he plans to develop will be
accessed by thousands of people around the world. He will also begin
training international leaders to participate in this same ministry.
Please pray for the Ramsays as they minister in theological education
throughout Latin America. Pray also for Richard’s safety in travel and
for the students who will be affected by FLET and MINTS.
