Roger & Laura Dye (#011726)
Roger was born in Asheville, NC. Being the son of missionaries Dick and
Ann Dye, Roger grew up in Mexico. He holds a BA in Bible and theology
from Columbia International University; his MA and M.Div. are from
Covenant Theological Seminary. Roger first sensed God's calling to
ministry as a five-year-old.
Laura Park Dye grew up in Simpsonville, SC. She finished Covenant
College in 1987 with a BA in business administration and sensed God's
calling to missions in 1990 while working at The King's College in
Briarcliff Manor, NY. Roger and Laura met and married in 1992.
The Dyes joined MTW’s church-planting team in Viña del Mar, Chile in
1998. In April of 2006, La Iglesia Presbiteriana de Reñaca was
established with an ordained session and diaconate. Roger preaches,
teaches seminary, encourages and trains local pastors. Laura enjoys
relational evangelism, hospitality, and VBS. The next phase of the Dyes’
ministry is to establish a national presbytery in the region.
