Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:

Thank you very much for your prayer and financial support. We are very encouraged by you and your partnership with us in our ministry in preparing Hispanic pastors and leaders through FLET University. Distance education is a challenge but it is also exciting as you meet so many people in different cultures and with so many experiences. As I just finished teaching the crisis course here in Miami, I heard the drama and suffering of many immigrants - suffering in their homeland and suffering in the transition to this country. Yet through it all they have learned to respond to the faithful love of God in the transitions of their life.

This past weekend we experienced a transition in Susana´s life as she graduated from Covenant College. God has been faithful to her as she was able to finish with honors in spite of the rocky road she had to travel do to her accident and illnesses. She is very grateful to you for your prayers. Pray for her and Jonathan Tucker as they now prepare to marry in July.

Today we are traveling to Chile!. It is our first trip since we left that mission field four years ago. We are excited to reunite with our dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. I will participate in a wedding this Saturday and from the 22-29th of May I will teach the FLET Crisis Counseling course in Santiago. Pray that this will spark more students for FLET and that I may be an encouragement to Esteban, our Flet representative there. Robyn will speak and fellowship with the ladies on Tuesday.
