Mandy Massingill #014902
Mandy was raised in a Christian home in North Georgia and came to faith in Christ at an early age. God has worked in several ways to grow her relationship with Him and develop a passion for missions in her life.
Mandy felt called to Mexico after a trip to Acapulco to work at the Casa Hogar orphanage and Sobre el Puente street child ministry center. After participating in a course called Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, Mandy began praying about returning to Acapulco. A door opened for Mandy to return as an English teacher at New Horizons Christian School, a ministry of Maranatha Presbyterian Church in Acapulco.
New Horizons provides solid, reformed Christian education for children from the church, the community and Casa Hogar. The educational standards are far above average, and serve as an invaluable tool in equipping a new generation to impact Mexico for Christ. The school’s administrators stress the value of learning English from a native speaker, which is the service Mandy will provide for the children through her work with MTW.
Please pray for Mandy and New Horizons as they endeavor to educate, train and equip youth to impact Mexico for Christ.
