Meredith grew up in a Christian home in Rock Hill, SC. At the age of ten, she accepted Christ as her Savior during Vacation Bible School. Meredith attended Wofford College, where she received a bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Spanish, and a certificate in Latin America and Caribbean Studies.
During the summer of 1997, Meredith went on a short-term mission trip to the Dominican Republic. While in the Dominican Republic, she rededicated her life to Christ and God began to soften her heart towards missions. The following summer she completed an internship with Score International in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, where she worked with the American youth who came on short-term mission trips. This internship and short-term mission trips confirmed her desire to serve the Lord in overseas missions.
Meredith will be working with a church planting team in Vina del Mar, Chile. There are many universities in the area and she will be involved with helping establish a university ministry as well as teaching English.
