My Privilege...
Again, I am so thankful to all of you who have made it possible for me to serve with the poor here in Peru! I am without doubt that this is where God wants me to be.
My Opportunity...

I have been given an opportunity and I NEED YOUR PRAYERS as I seek God's clear answer. There is a need for some help in Cuzco, Peru with our MTW Cuzco team in the following areas:

  • 11 summer interns and two week teams from the states
  • a new church plant
  • evolving ministry regarding kids at risk (formerly referred to as "street kids" ­ these are kids who are either street kids or have homes but spend most of their time on the streets)
  • Bible studies and discipleship in a new church plant
  • Help with music in the new church plant
  • teaching opportunities of very basic Bible and Theology classes (toward the end of the year) for lay leaders in Quechua villages high up in the mountains.

I just returned from a trip to Cuzco to visit the team and see the ministry there, and will make a decision within the week of whether to stay in Lima or move up to Cuzco.
YOUR Opportunity...

This is where your role in our team comes into play!! I very much need your prayers in the next week as I seek God's wisdom. I am praying James 1:5-6 "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind

Please join me in praying this week that God will give me his wisdom and a clear answer as to where I shall spend the remainder of my term here in Peru.
