Need for Prayer 
 
Currently, we have many areas in which we are struggling and need your prayer.
  • Our rent is going up, we are stretched financally and so cannot pay more. Jim is going to talk with our landlord today to see if he would reconsider. Pray that the Lord would lead in this area. If we must move pray that God would give us wisdom and provide a place for us to live.
 
  • Caroline's education: because of her learning style the school has been very difficult for her.  Plus, they have increased the Spanish this year in several of her classes. This is very stressful for her and  for us as we help her.
 
  • Lastly for our car, it did not pass inspection and the part needed to repair it is not available in Peru. Also it is a 20 year old car and we keep putting a lot of work into it. Pray for wisdom, whether or not we should sell it or repair it. If we sell it we really do not have the resourses to buy a car that runs well. Pray that God would provide either way.
"Kids Alive"
 
Recently the Lord has opened a door for me (Sara) to work with a ministry named "Kid's Alive" that provides childcare for families in extreme poverty so that their parents do not have to leave their kids home alone while they go out to work.
 
A part of this ministry is helping the mothers with job training and bible study. The program is a year long program and this current year is ending in June. The most recent coordinator had to leave and they needed someone to step in temporarily, so for now I have agreed to finish this years' program and pray about my role for the future.
 
Please pray that I can be a blessing to this ministry. Right now I feel very inadequate for the job, especially because of  my Spanish.
 
Also pray for widsom as to how to serve the moms as they leave the program and try to find work to provide for their families. Pray that God would show us how to help them in this process.
House of Glory (ministry of our misson)
 
 
Thank you for praying for the House of Glory ministry home for at-risk pregnant girls.  This ministry needed a license to operate in the area they are serving.  As of today, they do have this government license!!!  So, thank God that He has done this.   Now they are waiting for certification from Peru's department of family services.  Please continue to pray for this.  Once this is completed they may begin to receive girls into the home.
