"Now
from the dungeon a rumor is stirring. You have heard it again and again.
Ah, but this time the cell keys, they're turning, and outside there are faces
of friends. And though your body lay weary from wasting
and your eyes show the sorrow they've had, Oh, the love that your heart is
now tasting has opened the gates; Be ye glad! Oh, be ye glad,
oh, be ye glad! Every debt that you ever had has been paid up in full by
the grace of the Lord. Be ye glad, Oh, be ye glad, Oh, be ye glad!" (Song by Michael Kelly Blanchard) | | |
This Holiday season we want to send our deepest love and gratitude to all
of you. There were many days we thought we would not make it to Peru, but
through your sacrifice and prayers we are here to serve our Savior. Praise
God! As
we look back at this past year and see His glory, we are in awe. He has never
left us alone. He has always provided when we needed it, support for us
to get here, a school for our children, a home to live in, a team to love
us through the transition and most importantly hope each day in Jesus, that
forever we are loved, forgiven and declared righteous for all time. It
is amazing to us that the God of heaven and earth cares so deeply for us.Our
hope for you and the world is to know that awesome and amazing love and hope
of Jesus each day. That He may get deep into the cracks of our brokenness
and heal. We have so much reason to rejoice this Christmas!! All our love to you, The Wards
