Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the
full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's
schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against
the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil
comes, you may be ale to stand your ground, and after you have done
everything, to stand." Ephesians 6:10-13
We need your prayers. We, the New City Lima Team, the Luz de Vida
church plant, and the House of Glory are experiencing a spiritual
attack, and we know that God works through the prayers of His people.
Please pray for:
1. The truth of the Gospel to bring light to the darkness and truth
out of lies.
2. God's protection in the heat of the battle, that His Holy Spirit
would comfort and guide us.
3. God's healing and restoration
4. these verses in Ephesians, that we would be able stand our ground
and after we have done everything to stand on the Rock which is our
Savior Jesus Christ.
5. a young mom and her 3-month old baby who are doing battle in the
spiritual realms, that she would be brought to repentance and would be
able to claim that Jesus is her Savior and Lord
I wrote this e-mail this morning, and today, God answered many of
these prayers. The three teen moms that live at the House of Glory
all accepted Christ! Please praise the Lord with us for His
faithfulness, mercy and incredible power. And continue to pray these
things in light of 3 new believers and their struggles and victories
with the chains of their past.
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world
does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On
the contrary , they have divine power to demolish strongholds." II
Corinthians 10:3-4
We praise Jesus for His deliverance, for His redeeming work on the
cross, and for the victory that we have in Him.
Thank you for interceding on our behalf before the throne of the grace.
