Dear Friends and Family,
Thanks so much for praying with us and for the e-mails that we have received this week to follow-up and see how God has responded. We are thankful to be able to report to you that the situation with the teen mom and her baby boy is getting better. We see her growing in her faith and responding to God's grace in her life. We see her healing and starting to communicate her feelings more and being more open to change. We are encouraged as a team and would ask that you would continue to pray for all the girls at the House of Glory. And with that, we wanted to let you know that we are going to be receiving a new girl and her 1-week old baby boy to the House of Glory this next week. Please pray for her transition and continued recovery from her delivery and for the dynamics in the home with a new mom and baby.
And one more prayer request.. we recently got some bad news from the municipality. You may remember that we had some trouble when we were starting the home with the municipality and our occupancy license. We were trying to re-zone the house so that we could have the right license. Well, the municipality denied our request for the re-zoning. So, we have to appeal it. But in the meantime, we have to ask Child and Family Services if they will allow us to continue to run for another year on our current license. Please pray with us that we will find favor in the eyes of Child and Family Services and that they will allow us to stay in the house we are renting for another year. If not, we will have to find another house in April of 2010.
