Dear Family and Friends,
We hope you had a beautiful Christmas celebrating the incarnation of our Savior.
We have some sad news this week, and we wanted to share it with you so that you can be praying for us.
Jeremy's grandmother (his dad's mom) is very close to taking her last breath. Jeremy left last night for Columbia, SC and was able to see her in the hospital this morning. Please pray for Grandma Dot. We are praising the Lord that she is a Christian, but it is always hard to go through a loss like this. Please pray for Jeremy's dad and family and for Jeremy as he says "good-bye".
I was thinking about what a hard time of year it is for her to be in this condition. Then, I thought, "While it is so sad for all of us, she is going to see Jesus at Christmas." All of us pray for that, that we would see Jesus more clearly. And now, Grandma Dot will get to see Him face to face.
Please pray for all of Jeremy's traveling and his time with his family. Please pray for me (Amanda) in my 8th month of pregnancy and taking care of our two. Our teammate Susan, is staying with us and is a wonderful help!
As we mourn, we know that we do not mourn as those who have no hope because we know our Savior and Redeemer, and we get to spend eternity with Him.
