Jeremy, Amanda and Kayla Ross
Dear Friends and Family, The big news is that I am pregnant!! YYIIPPEE!! We are thrilled! The baby is due on Feb. 10th. Kayla loves to kiss my tummy which she calls "baby." Thankfully, I am finishing up the first trimester because I have been feeling pretty nauseous and zapped of energy for the past month or so. Please pray for us as we consider how this wonderful news could affect our travel plans. There are many things to consider, but the most important part is that we learn to trust God to care for us as He always has and that His timing is the best. In light of that, we are at 80% of our monthly support. Praise the Lord! We are so thankful for the people that God has called to be part of our team. As you know, we were planning to try to leave in August for Peru. We are delayed as we wait to see when God will provide our full support so that we can buy our plane tickets. Please pray that the remaining monthly support would come in soon. This month, Jeremy has been traveling...to General Assembly to meet up with pastors and then to Michigan with Kayla and his mom for a really fun family reunion. The three of us are off on a missions trip to the Cayman Islands in a few days. The trip was actually planned for this week, but Hurricane Emily delayed us for a week. Please pray for this trip as we help with a Vacation Bible School and youth group for families in a PCA church down there. Many of them were greatly affected by Hurricane Ivan last year and are still rebuilding. Last week, we said "good-bye" to my sister Janna, her husband Scott and their 11-month old baby, Michael. They are in Chang Mai, Thailand for a year internship. We are excited for them, yet sad to see them go. Please pray for them as they transition into a new life and roles as missionaries. We would love to stay in touch with you. We want to know of your prayer needs and how you are doing. Our contact info. is cell: 954-816-9908 home 305-254-8679. Thank you for caring for us, for your prayers and your continued support as we prepare to minister to children at risk in Lima, Peru. Patiently(hopefully) and Expectantly(definitely), Jeremy, Amanda and Kayla Ross p.s. our team's website is: www.limanewcity.org All our updates are posted there.
