August 2005 Update

Missionaries on a Missions Trip

Over the last 13 years Amanda's family has helped to lead a week long Vacation Bible School at Boatswain Bay Presbyterian Church in the Cayman Islands. This year we were blessed by being able to go and minister as a family. I had the opportunity to fellowship and minister with so many amazing men and women of God. We were encouraged and overwhelmed by love shown to us by our dear brothers and sisters in West Bay. God is at work around the World, and is using broken people like you and me for His Glory! Praise Him for His Grace and Mercy!

Expecting and Expecting

We are excited to share with you all, that Kayla will soon have a little brother/sister to play with! It is hard for us to believe, but, in February we will be the proud parents of another little one. Amanda and the baby are healthy and are doing great! Because of her due date and the timing of Language School we are making a big push to get to Peru as soon as we can. In order for us to leave we only need to raise another $500.00 in monthly support. If we are unable to leave in October we won't be able to leave until April. If you have ever thought about supporting us, the time is NOW! Please pray that God would continue to raise up people committed to PRAY for us as well as those willing to partner with us financially.

Prayer Requests:
  • Pray that God would provide the needed $500 in monthly support THIS month so that we can leave for the field.
  • Pray that God would strengthen our faith as we wait on His perfect timing.
  • Continue to pray for other members of our team currently raising support: Mark and Lori Berry, Jim and Sara Ward and Laura Hoyt.
  • Pray for a healthy and safe pregnancy!
