Prayer Requests

Pray for the Resource Team, of which Gary is the leader. Pray that our newest member, Tom Houston, will be able to raise his support quickly.
Gary will be involved as a trainer in a region-wide training event scheduled for this October in Monterrey, Mexico. All our team leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean will be attending as we as we try to help our teams deal biblically with common obstacles to effective church planting and growth.
Gary will be teaching three seminars at the MTW Global Missions Conference in November.
Pray for Oscar and Lolo who are being trained for the pastorate in Santiago, Chile.
Our support account is short by 410 dollars a month.
Audrey is preparing to go to college this fall as a freshman, and Andrea will be a senior.
Pray that Seth will find the support group he needs in St. Louis.
Micah is considering pursuing further education.

Unfolding Words

Ps. 119: 130 "The unfolding of your words gives light."

What does it mean for God's words to "unfold?" It seems to imply that God's words have a richer meaning than can be discerned at first glance or on the first pass. The meaning of God's Word is so rich that it must be unfolded? What does this mean? The following ideas come to mind.... Read more....

Phyllis and I spent about four hours visiting with Tom Houston and his wife Jeanne last month. We are looking forward to their continued and deepening contribution to the work of the Lord in Latin America.
