From Oct. 8 through the 16th I took a trip to Vitoria, Brazil, and to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The trip was very productive. Please pray about the possibility of sending a missionary couple to Vitoria to work in church planting among the poor. Pray for the Brazilian pastor, Valdeci, and his family, as they decide whether or not to work with us in this project.

The training center in Buenos Aires has 30 students this year. Please pray as we seek to "export" this model of training to other churches and cities in Argentina.

We tried to take some vacation days after my return from Buenos Aires, but decided that we really need to get away from home if we want to have a vacation. Today I will be traveling to Atlanta for the annual meetings with presbytery chairmen, with the MTW committee, and with the other Regional Directors of MTW. I plan to return to Santiago on the 10th of November.
