Thank you for your prayers about:

1. our meeting with the group of Pentecostals. It went very well and they asked if I could speak to them again sometime. The Lord is doing something interesting here among many Pentecostals: they are hungry for the Word, which hasn't always been the case.

2. the visit of Mark Auffarth and Larry Barker . The concerts they gave were first class, and we were able to make some contacts through them. We also enjoyed visiting with them.

3. our trip to Quito and Guayaquil. In both cases very productive.

4. our support account deficit. Giving last month was especially good, and we are now out of the red. Thanks for your prayer and giving.

I am proposing a written agreement between the MTW mission in Chile and the Chilean presbytery with which we are working here. Please pray about this.

We hope to take some vacation time in August. I'll be traveling to Atlanta at the end of August.

Paul Gilchrist has agreed to give a three day seminar on the Presbyterian form of government for the national leadership in Quito. This will be Sept 15-17.

Construction of the new church building for Cristo Rey in Santiago has been underway. The evidence of progress is presently a very large hole in the ground (basement space) and pillars.
