Greg & Marilyn Senter #016869
With Greg’s German background and Marilyn’s longtime interest in Spanish, the Senters’ interest in Chile began when they learned of the strong influences of those two cultures there. As their interest grew, they sensed God calling them there. The Senters joined the MTW team in Osorno to support the church-planting movement in the southern part of Chile and have been working there since 2005.
In addition to developing relationships in Osorno and growing the church there, they also lead Bible studies and are involved in discipleship and evangelism. Greg assists with administrative and organizational responsibilities of the MTW Osorno team, supports the Chilean pastor of the Osorno Presbyterian Church, and coordinates short-term teams. Their short-term goal is to strengthen the Osorno church and develop local leadership. The long-term goal is to increase their work in neighboring cities and towns and plant churches there.
Greg and Marilyn are passionate about teaching Christ-centered doctrines of grace in an area where man-centered doctrines abound. They are seeing many people come to Christ through the ministry of the church and be liberated by the gospel of God’s grace. The Senters are members of Arden Presbyterian Church in Arden, NC, and have two daughters – Stacey (10/2/92) and Kari (9/2/94).
