Serving Short Term in Mexico Ð MTW Medical Ministry
Donna grew up in a Christian home in North Carolina. God particularly used her college years to challenge her to live for Him. After graduating, she went to East Asia for short-term missions. God used DonnaÕs experiences in college and missions to capture her heart for children, missions, and working in urban low-income areas.
Donna moved to Philadelphia where she worked for Esperanza Health Center, a Christian inner city medical clinic. While in Philadelphia, she spent one year studying at Westminster Theological Seminary. Donna also attended Arcadia University, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Then, she moved to Fort Myers, FL where she worked as physician assistant in Pediatrics.
In partnership with a MTW team and the local National Presbyterian Church, Donna will be developing a medical outreach and providing medical care and health education for orphans and street children in Acapulco, Mexico. Her work will be based at the orphanage "Casa Hogar" and at "Sobre el Puente," a drop-in center for street children.
